Group Financial Accountant

What you will be doing

We are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join our finance team, supporting the continued growth of an expanding international business. This role is well suited to a recently qualified accountant or someone with a few years’ industry experience looking to further develop in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will predominantly be responsible for the month-end close process, gaining exposure across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Based in Limerick (with flexibility for remote working), this is an excellent opportunity to build broad experience and contribute to a high-performing finance function.

Key Respobsibilities
  • Managing the group month end accounting process
  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts
  • Reconciling intercompany on a monthly basis 
  • Providing commentary on monthly variance analysis 
  • Assisting in the preparation of Board reporting packs
  • Tax returns and compliance 
  • Liaising with external auditors 
  • Responsible for acquisition accounting when required 
  • Working with colleagues in other jurisdictions in relation to reporting and compliance matters 
  • Ad hoc analysis/projects as required by the CFO or Head of Finance 


What you will need

  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA)
  • Attention to detail and a practical mindset
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Preference for experience with Xero 
  • Preference for experience of group consolidation accounting 
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in Ireland
