About the Role

We are currently inviting applications for an Assistant Manager | Manager within our Financial Reporting team, based in our Sofia office. The role will be offered at either Assistant Manager or Manager level, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. You’ll work alongside industry experts on high-profile clients, gaining hands-on exposure while shaping processes and delivering meaningful results. Responsibilities of the Role

Prepare and review financial statements for investment funds and financial services entities in line with US GAAP, IFRS, and local standards
Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process for multinational clients, liaising with fund administrators, auditors, and investment managers
Take ownership of deliverables under tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality output and timely completion
Research technical accounting queries and provide insights aligned with current standards
Maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying needs and helping to manage future reporting cycles
Review team members’ work and provide constructive feedback 
Ensure quality control across financial statements by leveraging appropriate tools and maintaining high standards of clarity, structure, and presentation Delegate tasks effectively and maintain open communication to support team collaboration and engagement success
What will you need
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA (completed or in progress) preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with sound professional judgment and a practical, commercial mindset
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate, high-quality financial statements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative, enjoys mentoring others, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Legal entitlement to work in Bulgaria
